Shooting at Boss 750 was the first time I shot at nightclub by myself. I had a quick training session the week before and shadowed another nightclub photographer in San Jose. It was a bit of a challenge because I wasn't familiar with the venue and how the crowd was going to be. One thing that I did like was that it was easy to get a parking space near the location.
Anyway, there was another nightclub photographer who seemed to know the place and the people very well. He looked like he was just chillin' and taking some kick ass photos. Fortunately for me, he was quite nice and gave me a few pointers. He told me to have fun with it and mingle with the crowd a bit more. He suggested playing around and perhaps flirting a bit with the ladies prior to asking them if they would like to have their picture taken. This would loosen them up and I would be able to get a more dynamic picture from them. I think it worked! Well, it's either that or they were a bit more drunk by the time I was taking their pictures. Haha.
The first picture shows two Korean rappers. They're quite popular from what I can tell. This is the first time I heard rap in Korean so it was pretty cool. The crowd went wild for them as you can see in the pictures.
